ETFE Dome Structure

At the center area of “World Humanoid Robot Games”, a nearly 35-meter-diameter ETFE Dome structure meticulously assembled by Liri-structure was unveiled. It not only creates a surging technological vitality in the competition training area, but also provides a new space solution for the future development of the humanoid robotics industry.

The ETFE Dome structure’s main frame uses a high-strength mesh galvanized steel tube, combined with the same highly transparent ETFE membrane used in the “Water Cube,” marking the first innovative use of a semi-permanent structure in a robotics training space. The structure offers excellent wind and corrosion resistance, ensuring both safety and durability. Its high-lighting exterior design is not only energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, but also provides a stable and comfortable lighting environment within the venue.

The Dome’s roof fabric features a high-tech blue exterior and silver interior, enhancing the venue’s visual feeling and highlighting its futuristic aesthetic. The interior is equipped with an anti-glare lighting system and intelligent air conditioning, precisely controlling light and temperature, creating an ideal environment for dynamic competitive testing in the robotics soccer event.

The unique, futuristic “panda eye” ETFE Dome Structure has become a landmark of the Games. However, its mission extends far beyond these Games, and the structure will be upgraded to a comprehensive platform, helping to integrate humanoid robot movement development, technology demonstrations, and industry connections, contributing to the sustainable development of the robotics industry after these Games.

Looking forward, Liri-structure will continue to deepen its expertise in prefabricated mobile construction, providing high-quality solutions for more innovative scientific and technological projects with more flexible, efficient, and sustainable structural forms.
