From March 13 to 15, 2026, the Chinese Grand Prix of the Formula One World Championship was grandly held at the Shanghai International Circuit. Leveraging its extensive experience in motorsport event projects, Liri Structure successfully built a double-deck VIP viewing hospitality structure, the F1 Paddock Club, for the official F1 catering supplier, The First Kitchen. The project delivered a high-standard, high-quality temporary space solution for this prestigious international event.
As the exclusive hospitality venue created for global VIP guests at Formula One races, the F1 Paddock Club represents the pinnacle of motorsport hospitality. The project was strategically located in the core area of the circuit, immediately adjacent to the Scuderia Ferrari pit garage, offering a highly privileged location. Guests were able to experience the intense atmosphere of the teams’ pre-race preparations at close range while enjoying refined dining in a comfortable and elegant environment, combining premium race viewing with high-level social engagement.
The structure measures 10 × 25 meters, with a total area of 500 square meters. It adopts a thermo-insulation roof cube double-deck structure, perfectly suited to the hospitality requirements of high-end motorsport events. The overall architectural design is modern and sleek, with the front facade featuring large transparent glass walls that provide an open and unobstructed view. This design allows guests to enjoy an immersive race-viewing experience and feel the speed and excitement of Formula One at close range.
In terms of structural configuration, the main frame utilizes 6061-T6 high-strength aviation-grade aluminum profiles, ensuring both stability and durability. The roof is equipped with a double-layer insulated thermo roof system, which effectively reduces external noise and helps regulate indoor temperature differences, significantly enhancing overall comfort. In addition, the structure adopts a large-span, column-free design, maximizing interior usable space. Combined with wooden flooring, decorative chandeliers, sofa seating, air-conditioning systems, and high-definition display equipment, the venue creates a high-quality indoor environment integrating race viewing, hospitality, and event functions.
To meet the diverse hospitality needs during the event, the interior space was carefully planned and divided into multiple functional areas, including a VIP viewing area, dining area, private meeting room, reception lounge, relaxation area, interactive zone, and media interview area. Throughout the race weekend, guests were able to enjoy a more exclusive and interactive on-site experience, fully reflecting the unique value of the F1 Paddock Club as a premier hospitality venue at world-class motorsport events.
