How to set up a large tent?

Large Tents have become a common choice for outdoor events, especially for large-scale events, the demand for tents is even wider. However, for the construction of large tents, how to assemble them has become a problem for many people.

In fact, Liri’s large tents will be processed into prefabricated components in the factory, then transported to the construction site and spliced on site. In this process, there is no need to perform welding, cutting, or other processes. You only need to assemble according to the steps, which is very convenient.

That is The installation steps as follows:

1. Marking Out and Stake Base-Plates to Ground

Firstly, please mark the base-plates position according to the Ichnography drawing.

2. Assemble frames on the ground

Put the frame on the horizontal ground, place each part in the corresponding position, assemble from the center outwards, first connect the two roof beams with top connection and then attach to upright support and fix on the base plate.

3. Assemble gable support and gable base plate

Fix the gable support on the gable roof beam with bolts, and then slide it into place to inset the plate pins slightly without tension. After installation, adjust the center column and side columns according to the flatness of the construction site until they remain parallel and stable, and then fix the base.

4. Lift the frame and install auxiliary accessories

First, lift the first frame, and add purlins while erecting the second frame. Use the X-cross bar and roof cables to fix the two door frames. Using a lifting crane, or sufficient manpower to lift the first frame, ensure that the columns and the base plate are completely vertical, and fix the supports and the base plate with bolts.

Next, lift the second bay, and install the purlins before lifting. The purlins should be installed close to the ground and toward the middle. At the same time, use manpower to install the purlins in place with forks or aerial vehicles, and use tensioning cables to fix the two door frames on the roof. Repeat and Erect all bays like the first one.

5. Assemble the roof cover, gable triangle cover, and sidewalls

After the overall frame is installed, feed the keder of the roof cover, gable tiangle cover, and sidewalls into the grooves of the roof beam until all covers are tightened. Then use rectangular screw rods to fix the tension rods to complete the construction of the entire tent.

When building a large tent, please wear a safety helmet and prepare relevant tools, forklifts, ladders, or climbing trucks before installation. Installation still requires professionals to operate.
