According to the plan, Hengqin FTZ will focus on developing tourism and leisure health, business and financial services, culture, science and high-tech industries, constructing a cultural education zone, international business services and leisure tourism base, building a new zone which promote moderate and diversification economic for Macau, and examining the innovative regime for convenient trading and modern service industry, and giving full play to synergistic effect with Nansha and Qianhai FTZ.
Total area of Zhuhai Hengqin New Zone is 28 square kilometers.
